Last updated: 31 August 2026

This policy explains what personal data ClearView-Digital collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it. It is written to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

1. Who we are

We use the following service providers, who process data on our behalf:

Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by the safeguards required under UK GDPR — either a UK adequacy decision or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Standard Contractual Clauses, as set out in each provider’s own terms.

We will also disclose data where we are legally required to do so.

5. Cookies

This website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work — for example, to keep the site secure and to remember settings while you browse. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent under PECR.

If we add analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will ask for your consent first through a cookie banner, and update this policy before doing so.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become work: up to 12 months, then deleted
  • Client records: for the duration of the work and for 6 years afterwards, to meet UK tax record-keeping requirements
  • Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe
  • Server logs: as set by our hosting provider, typically a matter of weeks

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Ask us to delete your data, where we have no ongoing lawful reason to keep it
  • Ask us to restrict how we use it
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis we rely on

To exercise any of these, email contact@clearview-digital.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.

8. Marketing emails

We only send marketing emails to people who have asked for them. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and we act on unsubscribes immediately. We do not pass your email address to anyone else for marketing.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant and affects people already on our list, we will tell them by email.
