Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you buy Google Business Profile or website work from ClearView-Digital. Please read them before you agree to any work. If anything here isn’t clear, ask before you go ahead.
1. Who you are dealing with
ClearView-Digital is a sole trader based in Derby, England, operating clearview-digital.co.uk. Contact: contact@clearview-digital.co.uk or 07479 777375.
2. How buying works
Nothing on this website takes payment. The process is:
- You fill in the form for the package you’re interested in. That sends us your details — it doesn’t commit you to anything and it doesn’t charge you.
- We talk it through, confirm the package is right for you, and agree what’s included.
- We send you a request for payment by PayPal or bank transfer.
- A contract exists between us once payment is made. Work starts after that.
Prices shown on the website are the full amount payable for the package described. If something falls outside the package, we tell you and price it separately before doing it. We never add charges you haven’t agreed to.
3. Your right to cancel
If you are buying as a consumer (that is, not for the purposes of a business), the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you 14 days from the day the contract is made to cancel and receive a refund.
Because most people want the work started quickly, we will normally begin within those 14 days at your request. If you ask us to start within the cancellation period and then cancel, you still have the right to cancel, but we may charge you a fair amount for the work already carried out up to the point you told us. You’ll be asked to confirm you understand this before we start.
If you are buying for the purposes of a business, these statutory cancellation rights do not apply. In that case, tell us as soon as you can: if we haven’t started, we’ll refund you in full; if we have, we’ll refund the balance after fairly accounting for the work done.
To cancel, email contact@clearview-digital.co.uk. Refunds are made by the same method you paid, within 14 days.
4. What we need from you
We can only do the work if you give us what it needs. Depending on the package, that means:
- Accurate business details — name, contact information, opening hours and the areas you genuinely serve
- Manager access to your Google Business Profile, or the ability to approve changes
- Your logo and any photographs you want used, which you confirm you have the right to use
- Replies to our questions within a reasonable time
If we can’t get what we need, timescales will slip. If we’ve heard nothing from you for 60 days, we may treat the work as complete and close it. We’ll always email you before doing that.
5. Timescales
Most work is completed within five working days of us getting access and information. That’s a genuine estimate, not a guarantee — Google’s own verification process is outside our control and can take longer.
6. What we don’t promise
We want to be plain about this, because parts of this industry are not.
- We do not guarantee any search ranking, map position, or place in local results. Google decides those, and nobody can guarantee them.
- We do not guarantee a number of enquiries, calls, bookings, customers or reviews.
- We do not and will not buy, incentivise or fake reviews. That breaches Google’s policies and can get your profile suspended.
- We can’t guarantee Google will approve every change. Google may reject or alter profile edits at its own discretion.
What we do promise is that the work described in your package will be carried out properly, that you’ll see what we’ve done, and that we’ll tell you honestly what we can and can’t influence.
7. Ownership
You keep ownership of your Google Business Profile, your domain name, your website content, your logo and all information you give us. Once the work is paid for, the website and profile content we produce for you is yours to use, change or take elsewhere.
We keep ownership of our own working methods, checklists and templates. Nothing here gives you the right to resell our services as your own.
8. The Care Plan
The Care Plan is a rolling monthly arrangement. It runs month to month with no minimum term. To stop it, tell us before your next payment is due and no further payment will be taken. Months already paid for are not refunded, but we’ll complete that month’s work.
9. Liability
We take reasonable care in everything we do. Where we are at fault, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the work in question.
We are not liable for losses caused by information you gave us being wrong, by decisions Google makes, or by problems with services we don’t control. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
10. Your data
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
11. Complaints
If something’s gone wrong, email contact@clearview-digital.co.uk and we’ll reply within five working days. We’d always rather fix a problem than argue about it.
12. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your work is the one published when you agreed to it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
